Festival de Venecia 2014: Preparación

Bueno, bueno, me encuentro investigando el tema del Palazzo del Casino, y este se encuentra en la Calle (vía, en italiano) Lungomare Marconi, 30.
Lo primero que veo es que la SALA PERLA, donde creo que veremos muchas pelis esta en la segunda planta, junto a otras que tienen nombre de directores más que famosos, como Kubrick, o Spielberg... y que este sitio tiene pinta de ser grande no, lo siguiente.

OJO, que una cosa es Palazzo dil cinema, y otra palazzo del casinò.



En su interior se encuentran la Sala Grande, con capacidad para 1078 personas y la Sala Volpi, con capacidad para 171 personas.
Además se utiliza otras localizaciones para proyectar las películas del festival como el Palazzo del Casinó, donde se encuentra la Sala Perla con capacidad para 450 personas; el Palagalileo, con capacidad para 1299 personas, y que suele ser usado para los pases de películas para la prensa; el Palabiennale, que es el recinto con mayor capacidad (1700 localidades) y que se monta exclusivamente para el Festival; y la Sala Astra, que está reservada para visitantes acreditados, con capacidad para 225 personas.

 
Venezia 71: the Screening Schedule for the publicAunque el festival es anual, está enmarcado dentro de lo que se conoce como la Bienal de Venecia. Desde hace más de un siglo una de las instituciones culturales más importantes del mundo (fundada en 1895).
El máximo galardón del Festival es el León de Oro (Leone d'Oro), que el jurado concede a la mejor película a concurso. El jurado también concede el León de Plata (Leone d'Argento) al mejor director y el Gran Premio del Jurado. En el apartado de interpretación, el jurado otorga la Copa Volpi al mejor actor y a la mejor actriz. En cuatro ediciones, concretamente entre 1993 y 1996, se otorgó la Copa Volpi tanto al mejor actor de reparto como a la mejor actriz de reparto (en este último caso, solo se otorgó hasta 1995). Finalmente, la organización del Festival otorga cada año uno o varios Leones de Oro especiales a distintas personalidades del mundo del cine, reconociendo su aportación al mundo cinematográfico.

A Practical Guide to Press Services

  • Press reception. Press credentials may be picked up on the ground floor of the Palazzo del Casinò, at the entrance on the dock side, starting at 9:00 a.m. on 30 August 2011.
  • Press Office. The Press Office is located on the third floor of the Palazzo del Casinò.
  • Press Room. The Press Room, available for writing and sending out texts and images, is located on the third floor of the Palazzo del Casinò, with an area reserved for laptops, wi-fi service and a refreshment/relaxation area.
  • Official Press Conferences. The official Press Conference room is located on the third floor of the Palazzo del Casinò. The conferences will take place every day starting at 11:00 a.m.
  • Following each press conference will be the photo-call, on the terrace of the third floor of the Palazzo del Casinò; the interviews and Radio Call, courtesy of R101, will also be held on the third floor of the Palazzo del Casinò.
  • Club Orizzonti. The Club Orizzonti will be located on the first floor of the Palazzo del Casinò for the film delegations and their principal business contacts. A place for meeting and conversation, it also offers a refreshment and relaxation area for all filmmakers, producers and artistic collaborators of the films selected for the Orizzonti section.
  • Catalogues. The official Catalogue is for sale in the two Electa bookshops: in the lobby of the Palazzo del Casinò, and at the Movie Village, next to the outdoor ticket offices. During the Venice Film Festival, the official merchandising of the Biennale di Venezia will also be for sale.
  • Assistance to photo-journalists and television crews. The office of coordination for photo-journalists and televisions crews will be located on the third floor of the Palazzo del Casinò, along with the Canon Professional Service for assistance and rentals.
  • Mail Room. Opening electronically, with over 1800 mailboxes, the mail room is located on the first floor of the Palazzo del Casinò, for distribution to the press of press-books, announcements and documentation regarding the Venice International Film Festival.
  • Distribution of photos, CD images, audios and TV-clips. The distribution will also take place on the first floor of the Palazzo del Casinò, next to the mail office.
  • Online mail room. This service, open 24 hours a day, offers journalists press books, press releases and images of the films and of the Festival in digital format. Accredited journalists are granted access to the online mail room through the press area of the website www.labiennale.org (http://www.labiennale.org/en/cinema/press/).The access code required for logging in is the numeric code found on the accreditation badge under the bar code.
 A pesar de todo esto, a nosotros aún no nos queda claro, si tenemos que coger los tickets antes o entramos directamente con la acreditación.
